| Someone © Marieke de Groot When you lose your love your hope or your health. You’re feeling down and nothing will help. When you bear your grief in lonely sighing. Shedding your tears in silent crying. Someone will come help you through the night. And you will feel like a sunflower turning towards the light. Like a sunflower towards the light. When your dreams are gone like leaves in the wind. Just as the plans you hopefully made. When you try to be strong when things go wrong. You better sit down And ask for some help. Someone will come And gives you a hand. And you will hear the birds in the trees will sing again. The birds will sing again. When you only wait counting the hours. Your burden weighs like lead on your shoulders. When you bear your pain and hope for relief, but it doesn’t seem it comes to an end. Someone will come and help you to bear. And you will see the blossoms will flourish in spring again. the blossoms will flourish again. _ So when your dreams are gone and you’re hope is done. Try open up your heart again. There will be a hopeful light. An angel in the night. So don’t give up in barren times. You will stand up in better times. After a long winter cold the flowers will unfold. A new spring will begin.
